Welcome to "The Friendly Islands"! Located approximately two-thirds of the way from Hawaii to New Zealand in the region known as Oceania, the Kingdom of Tonga is an archipelago comprised of four island groups:

~ Tongatapu Group

~ Ha'apai Group

~ Vava'u Group

~ Niuas Group

Nuku'alofa, the capital of Tonga is located on the island of Tongatapu.

Tonga has a tropical climate with a "warm" season from about December to May and a "cool" season from about May to December.

Tonga is a beautiful country with an abundance of white sand beaches which are protected by reefs, making it an ideal location for snorkeling and scuba.
